Monique has homeschooled for thirteen years, sent her first daughter off to college, and currently teaches her younger daughter who is in high school. She, and her husband Steve of 25 years, make their home in the Portland area. Equipped with a BA in Child Development and Family Relations, and her passion for teaching, Monique has taught adults and children in many venues. She relishes every opportunity to encourage other moms through local homeschool support groups, focusing on topics such as Christ-centered family celebrations, ‘tent time’ with God, the value of volunteer work, and fueling godly passions in kids. Having kept a journal since high school, she fervently hopes to publish a book someday.
