 Carol Topp, CPA (HomeschoolCPA.com and MicroBusinessForTeens.com) is a retired homeschool mother, accountant, and author who runs an accounting practice specializing in helping nonprofits, especially homeschool organizations.
Through her writing, speaking, and consulting Carol converts tax rules and business language into clear, easy-to-understand English. She is the author of 12 books, including the award-winning Starting a Micro Business, the Micro Business for Teens series, Career Exploration for Homeschool High School Students and her most recent book, Paying Workers in a Homeschool Organization. Her website, HomeschoolCPA.com, was awarded Top Accounting Blog in 2015 and 2016, but her greatest compliment came from an audience member who, after sitting for 90 minutes, said, “You kept my attention the entire time.” That's high praise for a CPA!
Carol lives in Cincinnati, Ohio with her husband, and has two daughters, both homeschool high school graduates.
