Terry works for Gutenberg College in Eugene, OR. Gutenberg is a classical, Great Books college designed to teach students how to develop a Biblical worldview. Terry, and his wife Deanna, have been homeschooling their four children, twenty-one years now. For six years Terry was the local director for the Christian Home Educators Association (CHEA ) of California's San Francisco Bay Area Homeschool Convention. Terry and Deanna were also members of CHEA's Regional Advisory Board for several years. They started a support group in San Jose, CA that grew from four families to over one hundred and fifty families in five years. Terry speaks at numerous events and conventions. Terry is one of the founders and former Executive Director and President of National Christian Forensics and Communications Association (NCFCA), the organization to which HSLDA handed its debate league.
