Thelma English
Thelma and her husband Mark have been married for 30 years. They home schooled their two sons, now ages 20 and 27. They enjoy two granddaughters, the oldest of whom is now beginning her home education at the preschool level. Thelma attended Western Seminary in Portland as an ‘Enrichment’ student and completed most of a Master’s degree in Exegetical Theology. She is now slowly pursuing another Master’s with an online Bible college/seminary. Her studies in biblical languages, church history, and theology have prepared her to teach literature from a Christian worldview. Thelma teaches American, British, Shakespearean, and Classical literature to high school level students in several cities. Since becoming a grandmother she has cut back on teaching classes. She now focuses on encouraging and training other parents to use her materials in classes they prepare and host.
