Jo Edwards holds BA and MS Ed degrees in special education and is a licensed teacher. After four years with the Alaska State Program for the Deaf she became a stay-at-home mom, homeschooling her two daughters through high school and serving as a support group coordinator. She is presently the special needs advisor at Basic Skills Assessment and Educational Services where she teaches part-time, consults with parents of special needs students, and provides specialized testing and tutoring.
